Film Festival 2024

A festival of films from the Arab World.

Curated by Iraqi filmmaker, photographer and writer Yamam Nabeel, the I’m Migrant screening programme brings together both emerging and established film-makers from across the Arab World, creating a platform for cross-cultural and intergeneration conversation through film.

The programme will feature a curated selection of short and feature-length films alongside three open-call screening evenings inviting emerging young filmmakers of Arabic heritage to submit projects they’re working on. Each screening evening will be accompanied by a talk or panel discussion by those involved in the production.

Films include:

Dir. Koutaiba al-Janabi
KAL AND CAMBRIDGE
Dir. Ja’far ‘Abd al-Hamid
BENEATH A MOTHERS’ FEET
